Memories for Dessert

      Tonight Jordan and I had some quality mother daughter time over dessert.  As Jordan is now ten and quickly growing up it is really important to me to create memories between the two of us.  On the way to dessert we blasted her favorite song Grenade by Bruno Mars and sang our hearts out.  We went to a local pizza place and shared one of our favorite desserts while watching the LA Galaxy game. She talked about things going on in school, whats the latest with her friends, that she misses playing softball, even though she is so in love with the game of soccer,  and other small talk.  I watched her carefully as I didn't want to forget her in this exact moment.  Her skin so perfect, the way she looks at her food before taking a bite and how when she is quiet she is really listening to the conversation of the people next to us.  On our way home I watched her as she starred out of the window hoping that she enjoyed our dessert date as much as I did.
